    Trailer tires.

They are Goodyear Wramglers. Haven't decided if I will get Michelin Defender street tire or at AT tire again. This vehicle is only used for towing my travel trailer so probably not necessary to get at AT tire. My Rivian tows my 7000# boat from storage/lake/storage.

    Trailer tires.

Defenders are the only tires I use. When my Rivian's Pirellis wear out by the end of this year, Defenders are going on the car. Same goes for my 3/4T GMC truck.

    Trailer tires.

The guideline from most tire companies are to replace at 6 years from tire manufacture date. In the case of Michelin 10 years from manufacture date is is their absolute maximum.

    Trailer tires.

I fail to see the reason you care a whole lot about tires. You could put the cheapest tires on there.

How many miles a year do you tow your boat?

    Trailer tires.

I have had a number of failures when I did 1000 mile round trips from LA to Tahoe. I have some Chinese Tow-Master where the tread ripped off of 3 year old tires( 2 of them in a trip). I also had multiple Chinese Hercules(also 3 years old) develop huge bubbles...also in one trip. No more issues...

    Trailer tires.

The ones in the size I need are made in China...at least 2 years ago when I bought them!

    Trailer tires.

On any trailer that I put significant miles on, only Goodyear Endurance or Maxxis. If I am just putting on 25 to 50 miles a year as my two boat trailers get, I will buy cheap Chinese tires like Carlisle.

    Lithium ion batteries

Here is one example....if one cell was 0.5V higher than all the others, the BMS would stop ALL charging once that cell reached it's max voltage during charging and all the other cells would be 0.5V lower. Your total battery would be 1.5V lower than a full charge. Now that is an exaggeration as...

Proper Oil For Oil Bath Hubs

The oil bath versions used 75w-90 gar oil so 50W engine oil is actually higher viscosity.

    Lithium ion batteries

its 14.2 to 14.4V that is the magic number. 14.0 may not be enough to kick off balancing...which you need to have happen at least monthly.

    Lithium ion batteries

I just looked at the manual for that charger. I would personally use the custom profile, set the max voltage to 14.4V vs 14.6V and set the auto maintain to 13.2V to 14.4V if that is doable. You could potentially use the LiFePO4 setting with preset 2 but 14.6V is higher than I like to run. The...

    Lithium ion batteries

The charging profile for a lithium battery is actually very simple. Bulk charge until absorption voltage of between 14.0V and 14.4V. Then constant voltage until current drops to zero giving enough time for the batteries cells to balance. Once that cycle is completed, drop to a float voltage of...

    Lithium ion batteries

WOW...you are pretty clueless! You don't know what you are talking about so maybe you should just stop!

    Lithium ion batteries

If your trolling motor uses 24V or higher voltage. Buy the lithium battery with the actual voltage you need instead of putting multiple 12V batteries in series. That way the battery balances itself. If I was buying new batteries right now, I would be buying Epoch batteries. They are more money...

    Lithium ion batteries

LIPO batteries are a different story. We are talking about LiFePO4 batteries here. LIPO(lithium polymer) batteries are the ones commonly used for Remote Control airplanes and cars. COMPLETELY different. Why would you use a NiCd battery charger on ANYTHING other than a NiCd battery. The voltages...

DeWalt corded drill DW106 Type-2 keyless chuck, bits slipping out?

My cordless drill is WAY more powerful than any corded drill I ever owned. I can drill through steel easily.

    Lithium ion batteries

You won't get a fire if you charge with a lead acid charger. The worst that would happen is that it wouldn't get fully charged. A lithium battery has a BMS which shuts off all charge current once a certain voltage is reached so you would never be able to damage them. Yes...they last WAY...
