    What does BEEEWWW mean?

    Johnson 48 SPL. Motor is running great, thank God. When I turn to key, my control box makes a BEEEWWW noise. It comes from four little holes with a circle around them. Anyone know what this noise is?

    Will polyester bond to PVC?

    I found 2 different types of flooring that I would rather use besides plywood. One is made of PVC and the other is made of polyurethane. Does anyone know if regular polyester resin will bond to either one of these. I'm trying to avoid putting wood anywhere in this boat. WOOD IS BAD!!:devil:

    Paris-Rhone question AQ125A

    The contacts in the voltage regulator (or maybe it's a solenoid) that's attached to the back of a Paris-Rhone alt. are rusted and week. Is is possible to change out this part or do I have to get a new alt.? The coil and shaft, etc. in the alt. look great.

    Does anyone know if there is a replacement hub for these props (older 17 spline) that are made of plastic? I am paranoid about hitting a stump a killing the gears in my outdrive.

    Does anyone know the differance between an AQ125A and an AQ125B? To the untrained eye, they appear exactly the same.

    I have seen these on some posts, but my fuel line does not have one. Only an in-line filter that looks like a small clear tube with a screen inside. Would it be smart to put one in while I'm rebuilding the motor. Is is dangerous for the motor to run without one?

    Do you know of a good online company where I can find decent gasket/o-ring sets for a VP AQ125A? I can't seem to find a kit that has the "collar" type seals for the heat exchanger and fresh water tank connections.

    Wood flour and poly?

    Has anyone ever tried using wood flour to thicken poly resin for fairing floor-to-hull, etc.Cab-o-sil can get expensive and I have about 10 pounds of flour (sifted sawdust) laying around in my shop.
