I’m currently working on getting this project boat going. It’s a decent shape 06 Tahoe Q4. I found a rebuilt low hours ‘87 3.0l to replace the seized 3.0l that was originally in the boat. I left the 87’s shaft coupler on the motor not thinking about the gen 2 outdrive differences. With the shaft fit in the coupler correctly or am I pulling the motor and placing the coupler from the seized motor on it?!? Anything else I should know about from y’all’s experience?
