01 50hp johnson carberator breakdown

I am finally back home and am hoping that 1 of u guys might be able to send me info on the break down of the carbs. I am still slow at this computer stuff. if anyone can help me that would be great. I also am on windows msgn as tacforce. my email address is tacforce1@charter.net. Thanks for all the help a couple of weeks ago..

You need a manual, Tacforce. It will have pictures as well as directions. No smart wrench would work on an engine without one.<br /><br />Uploading copyrighted material would be illegal.<br /><br />Good luck. :)

If you're going to work on your own outboard, you MUST have a manual for it. That's just basic stuff.<br /><br />Working without one is a great way to stay ashore.

thanks. I have one ordered, but for some reason it hasn't got here and the way i work it will be at least 2 more weeks before i can get started. i was just hoping for some help before my book came. my dad ordered it 9 days ago.

I'd just wait for the manual, Tacforce, then take on the job. If you're going to be doing the carbs, go ahead and get the carburetor kit(s) for your motor.<br /><br />The manual will be there soon, and you can get started. No sense starting without it, and parts have a way of disappearing if you don't do the whole job in a reasonable amount of time.
