Battery went dead today on lake went to hook up new battery notice the ground wire arked. then started smelling something like wires burning didnt see any smoke but noticed the staor wire was hot and the batterys ground wire was hot so unpluged stator and ground wire cooled down ! so when staor hooked up wires get hot and the battery ground gets hot with engine switch off!
