About these boats or this particular model? Boat has a Heavy Duty Custom Made HardTop - 200 Merc (Carb) - nice trailer - enclosure canvas & curtains - comes with gps - radio - furuno fish finder - northstar chart plotter - humming bird fishfinder - cd/radio

Boat has almost 200 hours & has spent most of its life in South Florida

Can anybody Please give input on the hull of this boat & the power source

Asking price is 19,500 which I believe in today's market is high , but before I give an offer I would sure like some input - compression has been done on the motor & all cylinders read within 2 - 3 psi of each other & the Merc dealer also just performed a complete service on the outboard -& changed the bait well pumps (2) & replaced 1 bilge pump & went thru all the wiring , trailer etc to make sure all is in order.

I like the fact that the boat is self bailing & has alot of extras - Note I have yet to see the boat in person, but the dealer has sent many pics & it looks very clean. The dealer also believes that the boat is all fiberglass & composite - which if it is would be a big plus.

My buddy just bought a Pro Line, same year with the same carb 2 stroke Merc. We read 140 psi on all cylinders. Other 150 Merc's we looked at had as low as 125 across the board. Unlike Yamaha, the Mercs don't seem to have hour meters on them, so hard telling the real low hour boats. We felt the one he bought had 250 - 300 hrs.
His boat was a big 20', bought form the second owner and he paid $9k.
There are some good buys out there, you just have to look. He and I spent the past four months trying to find him the right boat at the right price; his needed all the pumps replaced as well. Good luck!

Seems like a Capecraft is a very rare boat, not sure if that's good or bad -

Is there not someone - anyone who has had one of these boats or knows of someone who has had one -

Would like to have some info before I make an offer - weather is getting nice & sucks not having a boat
