So Im trying to trace my electrical problem, when i turn the key nothing happens, however all electronics (bilge, livewell, lights) all work. Motor has no power not even trim.
I found a 12 pin connector that had about 5 wires corroded so i want to replace this.

My question is the harness had 8 wires from the ignition and 11 wires coming from the back of the boat. Can someone help me with a diagram, or any input because im kinda stumped. I'm pretty young and this is my first major boat repair it would be very satisfying to do it myself.

THANKS for you help

Check the fuse (about 20A) under the engine cowl. The trim should work even with the key off.

Re: 03 BassTracker Under Dash Wiring Harness

So I fixed the trim problem (found a corroded wire). The fuse under the engine was blown however wen i replaced it it blew again.

Under the dash I have all the wires leading to the engine matched except for a BROWN w/ WHITE stripe, and TAN. these wires do not have anything to connect to, are they grounds?? I followed the wires to the engine and it looks like they are connected to each other right where the main cable plug is under the engine cowl.
