I bought an 04 Four Winns Freedom 180 4.3 and the bilge blower and ducting is missing. If anyone had this or a similar boat can you please describe where the blower is mounted and how the ducts are run. I could wing it but would like to mount them like factory. Thanks

Look around for the original mounting holes or wiring for the blower.
It can be about ANYWHERE!!!
The hose comes in 2 sizes make sure it's the same as the blower inlet/outlet.
The on deck vent will show what size is needed.
The pickup hose need to be down under the motor in the bilge, low enough to pickup any harmful fumes.

I have looked high and low for mounting holes and no luck. I do know the wiring harness plug is on the starboard side but that is it. I know I may have to wing it. I was just hoping someone would have a similar boat and know the factory setup.

670hoth - Moved out of the V-P section because it isn't a V-P question. More will see the thread here.

If you can post a photo of the area one of us may recognize where it should go or make suggestions how to exhaust the engine room properly. There should be two hoses, one fresh air supply and one exhaust via the blower.

Many years ago, I owned a 1997 Four Winns 180, and the outlet for the ducts was the hull vents that are on the very rear of the boat, above the swim platform.

As for the actual routing of the ducts, I can't remember. However, you want to get them down into the bilge under the engine, but not so low that they get into the water that may collect in your bilge.
