06 Yamaha 40 hp

Im thinking about buying this motor on craigslist used. It is TNT and Elec. start. Is $2500 a good price? It is currently setup for console but I need a tiller. Are the controls worth anything used if I were to sell them on ebay? Where can I get a tiller handle? Is it easy to find a used one? How much can I expect to pay for one?

it is a 06 2 stroke ES TNT console

If anyone can confirm the interchangability, I have a tiller (throttle) and the cables from a 1999 25hp 3 cylinder model that I removed this spring.
