Any suggestions on how to handle a bumpy ride for my 210 Reata with a 225hp VMAX? In the slightest choppy waters my boat slams down constantly. It takes about 3200rpms to get me planing and that that speed with the trim down it still slams.

Just bought 2005 210 Reatta. Did you ever get the bumpy ride corrected? What did you do? My dad has had 2 rangers and both were excellent boats and held their value.

I have 225 Merc Optimax (No hot foot just hand throttle). It has 5 blade 23 pitch SS prop. Have not gotten it fully loaded on the water yet. Riding empty however, the motor seems to get to a point where it is turning more RPM's than the prop can support - almost as if cavatating. Mercury recommended a 25 pitch 5 blade. Ranger reccommends 23 pitch regardless if it is 3, 4, or 5 blade. Curious to what you run and if you experimented?
