Have a 2002 Crest Pontoon with a 50HP Honda engine and controls. Everything working as it should 2 weeks ago. This past holiday weekend, started the boat and it started fine. However 3 issues came up after starting the boat. 1. The ignition switch would not turn off the engine.. It starts fine, runs fine, but switch will not cut off engine. 2. The tilt/trim button on the throttle handle does not work now. The tilt/trim button on the side of the engine however does still work. 3. The RPM gauge has stopped working now. So all 3 issues occurred at the same time !! I checked my battery connections and cleaned them all good. Still got the 3 issues. Can't believe that all 3 issues are not related in some way. Any ideas of what to check or what could have gone wrong ?? Does the tilt/trim switch and the RPM gauge all function through the ignition switch ?? Just thought maybe the ignition switch has gone bad. Strange that all 3 happened at the same time !! Any ideas would be appreciated..
