done had power trim and lower unit problems re placed the l.u 4 times now got a good one this time i think
ok its a 82 mariner 80 hp. runs good out of water but put it in water it runs and idles fine but put it in gear it dies its like its loading up or something under a load would it be plugs,fuel,carbs,or the timing the problem is just trying to go and it dies .. if it had a clutch it would run just fine and take off ............(if u come by a good deal pass it up unless u want a huge headache this is what happened to me, got more in parts than i do the boat now) had it out 8 times or better and have pulled it in 7 one time did not get it off the trailer even have not been able to get it planed out yet on the water
