10 HP evinrude sportwin Serial # 10302D - E12041

Can someone please tell me if any part of this string of numbers is the is the model number? If this isnt the model number, can you tell me where it's locate? Its a ~ 1963 Evinrude Sportwin.

10302 is the model number. As you say a 1963 10 hp Evinrude

But are you sure about the "D" suffix. I actually found 10302E

It is a "D" suffix

I will attach a photo from my Blackberry if I can figure out how.

I was trying to apply the INTRODUCES decoding scheme to my numbers and couldn't figure out.
