100 horse merc

I have a 16 foot larsen with a 100 horse merc on it.Merc did not make a 100 horse in 79 from what I have seen it is a 63.I'm not for sure though being I'm not a person of vast mercury or for that fact boat knowledge.The serial number is 1515973 was wondering if anyone could tell me what year it is? And if they know where I could get an ignition harness for it?I guess I forgot to mention the reason I brought that up is the fact that the title for the motor says 79

It comes up as a 1962:

100 6 1503332 1962 1503332 is the starting s/n for that year.

By ignition harness, I presume you are referring to the complete harness which runs from the control box to the engine, the external harness. If you are looking for new:

It is a 100 HP 1962 mercury
