What would have to be done to increase 1990 100 hp
Merc to 115 hp? Could it be as simple as changing jetting in carbs or more major?

Bob Guess
Fishing for Fun
You'd have to change all 4 carbs. It's not just jetting. It has more to do with the throat size of the carb. There are also other factors, but the cost of 4 carbs usually is plenty to discourage modification. You wouldn't notice much improvement anyhow. Maybe 2 or 3mph. Husndreds of dollars for 2-3mph? I have WAY better things to do with a few hundred bucks.
