Wayne - I know squat about electricity and dont have an inclination to learn. I can tell you that if I were in your shoes I would call Bayliner customer service and ask to talk to a technical rep. They know the specifications of all the "stuff" on your boat and I'm sure have dealt with this question hundreds of times.

Re: 110v to 240v

Don't know if this is any help but over here we have straight 240v on a 3pin plug(live neutral and earth) and it's illegal to use outdoors for commercial purposes due to the shock risk. This means that you can buy VERY heavy duty step-down transformers for running powertools and the like- might be worth a look in an industrial powertool store over there if you have the same laws in Oz

SoLittle and Nos4r2 – Ozzie Downunder is not interested in voltage conversion. He is trying to locate the original author of this thread…but you guys are welcome to keep posting here. You’re only 10 months late. :D

Ozzie DU – if Waynerg doesn’t respond, try sending an email message to the forum moderator and ask them to forward a private email message to Wayenrg that a fellow Aussie is in need.
