I have had a 115 johnson since mid-august.I went to start it after sitting for a week in the slip. I always lift the motor out of the water after use but noticed it was in the down position. I tried to start it and had nothing. I thought it was the battery(new)so I had it charged and also bought another new battery. I put the new battery in and had lights, radio, etc.but nothing at the starter and nothing at the controls for the trim & tilt and no trim & tilt at the motor. Maybe a blown fuse? Any ideas?

Hi needanet....Yeah...check the fuse first before gettin to far. It's an automotive type fuse. Believe it's on the port side of the engine. 30A if I recall. If it's blowed, ya' won't get nothing at the key switch or anyplace elese on the engine. Let us know what ya' find.

Thanks.

Outboardjim sounds like a very good start. I won't be there until Thursday and that will be the first thing I try. I got to get back out to the stripers--now is the time. I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks for the info.
