115 ficht ram 2001 big rpm problem

Hi... I've this engine and I've a big problem...<br />The engine work correctly until 3500 RPM but cannot go over this speed..at this speed engine made a lot of noise and don't reach the max speed.<br />We have changed ECU, we have changed sparks, we have change injector.. and every time the engine seems to work well and engine reach 5500 RMP but after a week the problem reappear....<br />there is no error code in the ecu... and I don't know where is the problem..<br />please help me

Welcome to iboats. Is this thing running hot, have you checked fuel pressure?

I've changed ecu, changed injector and spark plugs...sometimes i reach after a lot of try 4500 rpm... do you think is fuel pressure?how can I check it?

is it a healthy engine what the compression.

i've check indexing of spark plugs...<br />now i can reach misteriosally 5500 rpm but at 4000 rpm the engine have a lot of difficult to get higher rpm...it seems to stall for few seconds, after a lot i can reach the correct rpm.... anyone could help me?

If you have access to a diagnostic kit and laptop, that would be the best way to troubleshoot the problem.<br />By monitoring engine parameters, and then dropping individual cylinders, you should be able to home in on the problem. It has worked for me.

call brp customer service and ask where a dealer is close by<br />how did you afford to change all those parts?<br />a good tech should be able to diagnois problem ask brp

How?<br />Compression and temp are ok .... what are they ? <br /><br />I'm worried about the noise you mentioned.What is it ?<br /><br />I'm not picking you out for this post,but to all,give us all the info you can.<br /><br />I suspect your lift pump is bad.Probably the diaphram. <br /><br />DHP

is about 8 months that my dealer are trying to solve the problem... he don't know what is the broken part...<br />I've check indexing of spark plug by control that the spark is from 3 to 6 in a side, and 6 to 9 in other side...<br />I don't know the compression and the temperature value.. but my dealer say that it is ok....<br />8 months ago I take my boat to a dealer for this problem.. some "popcorn" noise at low rpm... (like 2700-3500 rpm)<br />I've changed ecu, upload new software, check injector parameters...and 4 months ago cylinder number 2 has been damaged... <br />the dealer changed it... but the problem remain... and now I'm trying to find an help on internet because I'm very very frustrating of this situation...<br />now the engine hesitate to go over 4000 rpm...<br />there isn't popcorn noise but it reach very fast 4000 rpm and after it makes a lot of difficult to reach 5500 rpm...<br />I hope with this story someone could help me...<br />thank you

i've changed crunkshaft sensor...<br />i've changed exhaust sensor<br />i've changed another injector<br />i've check throttle sensor<br />but the problem remain... tomorrow i'll change fuel lift pump... I hope this solve the problem..because I really haven't other ideas
