I was looking thru my books and manual on this poppit valve does anyone know where this i havent ever heard of it not that good with outbaords thanks

hello <br /> the water pressure poppet valve aids in controlling water pressure in the block at all speeds. if it sticks or leaks your block may not stay filled with water and thus overheat. its located under the 2 bolt cover on the lower stbd side of the exhaust cover.<br /> good luck and keep posting
