Apparently you did not grasp what I had to say in my previous post.<br /><br />I said after explaining to disconnect the red plug, remove the spark plugs, then cranking the engine to check for spark:<br /><br />"If you now have spark, in all probability the ignition switch has shorted out. If so, replace it. If you still do not have spark, the usual failure is the powerpack."<br /><br />To which you replied:<br /><br />"Thanks for the advice Joe. No spark so I guess I'll try replacing the ignition switch".<br /> <br />To repeat my last line... If you still DO NOT have spark, the usual cause is the powerpack.<br /><br />You misread what I had to say. Replace the powerpack.
