have a 2017 115 SHO and sometimes when running a noise from the motor (sounds just like a buzz bait rattling in the wind). any idea what that might be?
Less than a year old sounds like possibly a dealer repaired warranty issue. Pop the cowling off and go for a ride - Any change or absence of noise?
But in case the noise isn't coming from the motor, is the noise speed related? Shows up at higher speeds or lower speeds? Got a buzz bait on a rod catching wind?
