115 turbojet has water in bottom cylinders

ok went out.Hard to start.Finally got it to run and it wouldn't run past 3k rpms.Went back to shore and it dawned on me what it was.I had the leads from power pack on backwards on the coils.Switched and it cranked right up.It has run better today since we have had it.It planed out quick,ran faster,more power and idles at 1100 rpms.Now the same problem we are having and now I know what is happening,when you beach it for 30 minutes or so the exhaust fills up with water then hydralocks.There has to be some check valve to shut water from entering the exhaust and filling up.The water level is parallel to the bottom cylinders.the first two times we went out it didn't do that.I took off one exhaust hose and blew air through then water started coming out of the exhaust and bottom.Cleaned the cylinders with air,plugs and started right up and blew a lot of water out the exhaust.So if anyone knows what is suppose to valve the water from coming in let me know.Once I get that problem solved I think she will be good to go.

Unless the block is cracked, there are only 2 places water can get into the cyls: from inner exhaust manifold water leaks into the exhaust chest or from leaky/warped head/gaskets. As noted in prior comments above. Correction, there is one other way, if the fuel or oil tank have water in them, it can get ingested into the block on the intake side. Unlikely the engine would run at all well under this third scenario, though. A note of caution regarding running the engine much with this water issue. If you get too much water in a cyl, you could hydrolock the engine when at higher rpm's-could involve some significant damage.

Well I straight edged both heads and both where good.The inner exhaust didn't see holes or cracks.Block cracked a possibility.It never got hot since we bought this summer.Water doesn't ingest until sits in the water for at least 30 minutes.The exhaust is set up like a jet ski where the pipe makes a u shape so it cant fill up past that point.But it does have a hose tapped in below this hose and lies on the hull bottom and turns ,loops to the other side of the bottom of adaptor plate.This hose is below the water line.On the parts diagram it does not show this.I was wondering if someone tapped this and wash trying to make a flush.On the port side they have a screw in type water hose connection with no tee.I was thinking the water runs into the hose and starts to fill up on the other side adaptor plate since the water level is higher.

Also when I pulled the plugs they where all light brown and not white washed clean with water.I will reroute the hose from under adaptor to exhaust pipe to where it is higher than the bottom cylinders.It looks like maybe the po may have plummed that in to flush the engine at one time .

Also the port on the back exhaust plate for the pee hole on an out board is blocked off with a screw into the hose.Should that be open and tee into the pee hose on the jet pump?

If this is a jet application, perhaps someone more familiar with this specific application can make a comment.

I really think the hose is a flush system.But does anybody know if the pee hole on the exhaust plate needs to be blocked off for a jet pump since it has its own exiting thru the hull?
