Most people think the 115 turbojet was a bomb in the rage series I think it has been a great unit. I have run this 1994 boston whaler for 2 years and it has been great. NOW i do have a problem, the motor runs normally at 5000 rpm but will jump up as if it has a NOS system on it and jump up 300 extra RPM. I like it running at this level but after a minute or 15 it sets back down. it will do this at 4000 rpm as well(jump up to 4300). I have changed all the coils and the rectifier and the wires. I am suspecting a timing issue.<br />fuel and filters seem out of the loop as it does this up and down act only at higher rpms . the engine starts well and idle a little high sometimes with a "running rich" knock until warm.
