115A fault code

I have a 115 TLDI keep getting tps 1 fault code.Motor has 1500 to 2500 hours use it for crabbing.Battery two years old cca800 & bolted down termials.Motor has ever been any trouble were do i start.Thanks

Are you in the 3+1 year warranty? If so, a dealer can help. Did you reset the TPS per the Factory service manual? You need a bigger battery; 1,000 cca. If the problem persists, and is a "failure in TPS #1", you may need to re-seat the connector, and/or replace the tps. If it's just a "wrong position of tps 1", the reset should clear the error.

Chances are that you have low voltage from a marginal battery or connection. That causes the sensor to require a re-set...The correct procedure is to take it into a dealer for a diagnostic or get a factory service manual that gives you the self test procedure and the fault codes.

Up date bad wiring harness bottom plug.You can hold the harness tight against ecu and no problems.
