i was wondering how do u tell if the motor is electric shift or not the motor model is 115083d the ser eo8279 if anyone can help me

Model #115083D is a 1970 115hp Evinrude. The shift system on that model is a Hydro Electric Shift setup.

ok the title says 71 now are the lower ends harder to find for theses i was told if was electric shift it not worth fixing is that true
