If I have a spun hub in the prop wouldn't I be dead in the water?

Re: 115hp evinrude throttle trouble help

the prop has 2 metal hubs, and a rubber bushing in between, this rubber wear out. you can draw a line across the prop like the picture. then give it a try, if the lines are still lined up. then you have other problems. youcan try the prop off the 60, if the splines are the same, but i doubt the pitch is the same. if the prop is spun you cannot fix it your self, a prop shop will rebuild it. for you, or replace the prop.

Thats a good idea with line across,a prop is kinda built like a harmonic
balancer of a car-with the rubber insulation.I"ll have to remember that one.
good boating.
