second post on this engine..
There are 4 carbs>> the top two have idle adjustment screws and a plug in the back hole behind the idle screw hole... The bottom two carbs have no idle adjustment screw but two holes for plugs. Since I was stupid and did not take pictures, I need to know if one or both of these holes are plugged. As I only have two plugs, I must surmise that each carb on the bottom two get one plug each and the other hole is left open. If so, which hole gets the plug and which is left open??
As the hole nearest the engine has a small orface too allow a small amount of fuel to enter the cylinder at idle, one would think this hole should be plugged, on the other hand, both holes on the upper two carbs have a plug and an idle adjustment screw... Mercury engineering....
