the motor on the boat i just bought has been <br />sitting for about 3 yrs i got it started us-<br />ing new 93 octane gas. it starts up fine out <br />of the water. is there any procedure i should<br />follow before putting it in the water?

Mix some oil with that gas at 50:1 and make sure the lower unit has oil in it. Take a rope, and if you are headed to the river head upstream.
