Have an '82 johnnyrude 115 and the lower unit lube came out milky when I changed it this spring. Put fresh lube in it and will run it a few hours for the holiday weekend. I imagine it'll get by for a short time. How hard is the lower unit seal job? Do I need special tools such as a press etc? On the other hand anyone have an idea how much someone would charge to do the job? It might be worth it for me to buy a rebuilt one instead. I see them on e-bay from $350 - 500.
