Re: 1196 Evinrude 115 Overheat buzzer when not overheating

I thought about that today, but the thing that keeps me from thinking thats it, is when i squeeze the primer, there is NO flow once i feel the floats seat, i can squeeze as hard as i want and nothing gets thru. Im gonna try disconnecting the line from the motor when i park it for a while, to see if that helps relieve the issue. Just another detail as i ran thru the ordeal in my head again, i notice every time it floods, it fires ONE time, stumbles, and then wont restart. Maybe holding the primer too long for a warm start verus needing to hold it longer for cold... however when ive tested it, turning it off whilst hot, and back on, its fired up, with me holding the key in the same amount of time. Im just gonna keep getting to know the motor untill i can afford to kick it to the curb. We have been eyeing the new rude e-tecs and the yamahas found on this site as of late, but i have to pay off some other toys first.
