I rebuilt the fuel pump, but still have little power. Takes about a minute to get out of hole and runs pretty good on top end.
Does not even have enough power to load on trailer. Has new plugs and coils. Anybody have any ideas. Thanks in advance.

Howdy, Billum. Wow! A minute to get on plane is for-cotton-picking-ever!! Gotta tach? What rpm are you getting at WOT? How long have you had this engine? Did it ever work right for you?

12Footer is thinking spun hub (I think), I am thinking over-propped. Unless there is some critical fact that we don't know yet, it is likely to be one or the other, but you need a tach or an educated ear to diagnose it.

If you have no tach, we need to know type, length and weight of your boat; what pitch prop, if you have a spare prop and its pitch, if you have a speedometer we need speed at WOT.

Standing by.

JB
