Re: 125 force cooling

I wrapped a bungie cord around my muffs to make sure they hold tight since Force put the dang inlets on the torpedo part of the lower unit and w/ that being rounded the muffs like to move around. The water only spiutters out of mine when the idle is raised other than that it looks more like a light mist. This is normal and you can see other post here w/ Force and this sputter uniqueness. By the way I change my impeller every year.

Have you ever seen steam come out of them?

Mine did,,, I replaced the water pump last night. I hope that took care of the problem.

Water and exhaust come out of two places on your engine. One is the exhaust relief holes on the middle leg and two the snout that is behind the prop. You should always see water and exhaust gases coming from both. The relief holes may only appear to be spitting water as most of the water and exhaust take the path of least resistance and exit the snout when running on muffs.

John

Brevaldo,You should start your own thread.
You remove the thermostat?
You need to look up in the copper tube.
