Hi Guys I recently bought a boat and the guardian system doesn't seem to be working correctly when turning the ignition on there is no 1 beep so i thought the system was completely non functional, however after taking the boat out for the first time after about 2 hours i heard a constant beep, I selected neutral checked for water stream at the back everything looked fine i switched off the engine and also the lights (I was testing these on the boat) i started the engine again and alarm was gone and the issue never occured again.
Once the boat was out of the water i removed cowley cover to check all inside and i found 2 wires that seem like they should be connected but would like to check a wiring diagram first i am hoping this will resolve the issue of not hearing the 1 beep when engine ignition is on. The wires are brown/white and solid brown attached is a picture of the wires in question.
If anyone has a wiring diagram or can tell me if those should be connected or not, I will appreciate the help thanks.
