I believe I have the answer and that is to rebuild both carbs again, just to ask: the boat is bogging when first starting and have to ease it into full throttle, if I want to go from 0 to full throttle it dies, or sputters until I release back to idle. Does the same thing when edging it to 3000rpm. Seems to do good when I "pump" the throttle a couple times and runs well, also when it warms up it does fine, but after sitting for 20 mins, bogs down again; is this -- fuel pump; carbs ; don't know how to drive; electrical(plugs);water pump; --- I'm thinking carbs, this past week was the first time and the carbs were rebuilt a year and half ago. Boat is stored in garage, so no winterization -- . Thanks for helps.

u describe the symtoms of being too lean when cold.. do these carbs have a choke.. as i understand it some volvo engines dont.. if this is the case it all sound perfectly normal.. if all u have to do is let your engine warm up for three or four minutes then it runs and throttles okay dont worry about it..

this warm up time will depend on how cold the weather is.. in the summer it will pretty much go away..

trog100
