I was out after dark last night and all the lights on anything running through the master switch were flickering with the idle of the motor. Is this normal for an outboard?
no check your connections, sounds like something is loose, or corroded, and the vibration is causing the flicker. everything runs off the battery, and the engine charges the battery.
