14' fiberglass fishing boat restoration

Hell my name is Richard o have a 1966 lone Star montaray sport ,it has been left out in the wheather ,has three different layers of paint ,the floor is in really good shape so iam sanding it down to the fiberglass , so far it is looking a lot better ,my question is after I sand the topside down to the fiberglass , do I put a fiberglass primer on it the paint I would like to paint it a red what tipe of marine paint do I use any advice would be appreciated , thanks richard
