I have 70s mckee craft converted to center console with a lot of weight in back. I have a 17pitch uncupped prop with the anti ventilation plate running even with the keel of boat. The boat is crazily bow high when i take off trim down and porpoising or bouncing up and down once on plane. The trim is all the way down and still does this. I know it can be corrected as i previously built the same type setup with a 50hp that didnt do this. Will changing the prop help or will raising the motor a/v plate above keel help. Im also thinking about static trim tabs but would like to not have to spend that money. Any suggestions!!!!!!!

Trim it up slightly once on plane. Or am i missing something?
How long does it take to get, on plane from a hole shot?

it will jump on plane quick if i take off too quick the boat actually bounces and the prop will cavitate, i have to kind of get in it 3/4 throttle get on a plane which it does instantly but once i back out of the throttle a little trimmed up or down it will go to bouncing steadily .

Pics Of your set up. There is No reason with, power trim, that boat will not plain at a comfortable speed. unless you are over powered. Is the motor and transom oK, Same height?
