i have an 86 140 evinrude that is giving me fits. Sometimes it starts right up, most times it doesn't. After i do get it started it will not do anything but idle and roughly. It may go dead several times during this process. when it does finally run and run right it will run for about 3-5 minutes and die. Sometimes its it slowly dies and sometimes its like hitting the kill switch. I have cleaned the tank(wich was bad dirty), swaped tanks. redone the carbs(prior to cleaning tank) and i just dont know were else to look.
