143 degree thermostat

Searched the past posts and couldn't find answer so, on a 55hp Chrysler is the correct thermostat the 1 inch 143 degree unit?

Will this thermostat work on a 67 chrysler 45HP model 45781. Sorry to intrude on another post but I need a thermostat as well and hoped it might be the same one.

As far back as my computer goes is 1974 and the same T-Stat is used then. <br /><br />TMD

Sorry about that Mod2 . It's a 1970 but, it got a brand new powerhead in 1977.
