14ft starcaft restore the beginning ive dove right into it

ok i bought this 14ft starcraft have no idea of the year or anything about it, the previous owner was clueless on aything about the boat, i have been unable to find any tag with the vin or serial number anyone have a idea how i can find out, i have been to starcraft website but found no way to conatc them either any help would greatly appreciated.

Well before you get any deeper, allow me to ask if you have a private pond upon which you want to row?

Because in most states you are going to need a title in order to use anything other than oars or paddles. Said title might not have a HIN if the boat was grandfathered in and that is fine (at least it is here) but you need a title to use a motor.

Yeap, you need to find out what paperwork you are going to need in order to registar it. Here in Wisconsin the state does not issue titles for boats under 16' but they do issue a registration card which is to be kept with the boat and is used to transfer ownership. I am not completely sure on Missouri but I do believe they title both boats and engines,
