I have a 1986 bayliner 1950cx with a volvo aq125 and 270d outdrive. The current prop i have on it is a aluminum 14x19 r not sure make i think michagan. Any way it moves the boat great wot can do 5100 rpm at 37 gps but i keep it at bout 4800 and still do 32gps. I noticed i been doin 5000rpm easy now and not really moving so i looked at prop and just from wear and use over years its getting brittle. I have found so none volvo props in other words not $200 plus dollars but they say 14 1/2 x 19 what difference would those do ? Or any other recomends need one soon

The diameter is designed by the various manufacturers' and their prop design parameters to match the pitch. Just pick the correct pitch and don't worry about the dia.

I would go any bigger until I checked the clearance of the prop on the cavation plate.. If it is to big of dia. it could hit.. That was the problem I had on a prop that I got... I had to take it back and get a little smaller dia..
