How do you go about a textured gel coat floor?

Several methods. What kind of texture are you looking to acheive?

So I shouldn't worry about drainage from the underneath?

Don't worry, you don't have a bilge drain... you have a deck drain. Your foam, stringers, and everything else below the deck should be sealed off with no way for water to get in... and if water can't get in, it doesn't need to get out either. This is how your boat was designed to be.

Nothing to fancy, good grip and easy to clean. I saw you recommended in an other thread cabosil to thicken and a textured roller.

That's one of the easiest ways. You can also mix in a little sand instead of cabosil and then roll it on normally. They also make Imprint mats that you can apply just before it sets up so you can get a Factory look as well. Just depends on the look and the effort you want to put into it.

Been looking at the rotary steering cables on iboats.Mine is attached with an 1 1/4 inch nut at the steering box. The teleflex systems have quick couplers. How do I ensure I get the proper cable or should I go for a new system which is about fifty dollars more.
