15 hp 1986 Evinrude Fuel Leak.

Motor model E15RCDE. Where the fuel line connects from the fuel tank it leaks from the fitting. It's NOT the fuel line. The fitting is secured with a bolt under the motor cover. I'm new and this is my first motor. What part am I looking for and where should I find it. Thanks in advance for any help!

Get a Johnson/Evinrude fuel line connector. The fitting bolted to the motor probably isn't leaking.
If you do need that fitting you can get it from your local marine dealer or at shopevinrude.com.

The part that is leaking is #32 in the diagram.

this part no 32 is meil conector, i am sure this conector wiil not leak at the conection(what you can do is only tight harder clamp on fuel hose inside lower cowl)
but in femeil conector(this one which you put on meil conector) inside is oring, spring and ball.
this can couse fuel leak betwenn conetion.
just buy the new femeil conector

I'd suggest you take your hose to the BRP dealer and get a new connector..about $7...I'd tell you which size, but I can't remember..they'll match it up..as raczekp1 stated...the connector on the motor won't leak unless the casting is cracked.....the hose from the connector to the fuel pump may leak if it's loose or cracked
