Changed plugs,Cleaned carb new fuel uses acumix system checks out fine plugs burning clean,runs great above idle any sugestions would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a mixture adjustment is in order. Leaning it out will generally raise idle, richer mixture slows it down.

I have recently had similar issue - After trouble shooting the spark, changed the fuel, checked the lines I took a look deeper into the carb. Look at parts manual for the engine. There is part called the roller cam follow - (Part 11 in the schematic) remove the engine cover, and then remove the intake for the carb both halves -you will see when you turn the throttle at the bottom front of the flywheel there is a cam that moves a roller attached to the carb that increases the fuel to the carb. When I looked at this and turned the throttle the cam did not rotate - I pulled it off and there was two deep groves there it has seated itself. Mine just lifted off with a little snap I am in the process of changing this. $21.00 part in Canada.
Worth a look, the engine would start and if ingaged drive would run fine, but would not idle after coming out of gear. That may be your problem.
