15 hp evinrude with no spark

ok,heres the deal.I have a guy who whats $100 for a 1975 15 hp evinrude.The motor is in excellent condition just don't run.He said it needs maybe the coils and the pull starter fixed.Should I but the motor or not.It's cheap enough.

I would disconnect the kill switch before doing anything,often go bad=no spark

Well,I bought the motor,Home in the garage.The kill switch bottom was broken.Took it apart and put in a new switch.Got real good spark,just got to lat to try and start it.may need to put new plugs in it.The guy has the wrong ones in it.I think they should be UL4J ..I'll let you guys know the out come later
