I just finished installing a new impeller in it, the hardest part was lining up the water tube, kinda like shooting pool with a rope!
i followed the advice of a fellow forum tech but did something wrong.
I get reverse and neutral(with a clicking noise) but no forward, where did i blow it?

When you re-attached the shift linkage, you probably did not let the lower linkage seat all the way into the clamp block. Remove the lower screw, be sure the cut in the lower rod line up with the screw hole, and put the screw back in. It should work then. Rick

Thanks Rick,
When I finally got all three items( drive shaft, shift rod and waterline) in place
and went to reattach the set screw on the block, the socket fell into the column so I backed up and retrieved the socket(resetting the tube) and when the linkage hit that block, I just reefed it down and got my socket out of there pronto!
