15 hp Force micro gas filter question

Good day. There is a micro filter prior to the gas pump. I suspect it could be partialy blocked and may cause idle stalling. The part is back-order. Question can it be cleaned and re-installed, and/or can the motor run without it ? Thank you

Sure, you can clean and re-use the filter. In fact, I've done it many times on my Force and Mercury.
