Hey, i'm new to the forum and i had just received my first boat. I got the 15 ft '76 Princecraft Trihull for free and i gutted the whole thing and re did everything on it top to bottom. The actual fiberglass hull was in really good shape and the transom had marine plywood that wasn't rotten. I re fiberglassed the floor and reenforced the transom with fiberglass as well. I have an 1973 merc 800 thunderbolt and wondering if this is going to attract any issues. I have built a fishing deck on the front with 5/8inch flywood so there is alot more weight on the front end and I am just in the process of finishing the transom. I was going to install a 1/4 steel plate on the back to protect the transom and distribute the weight. Any comments on this would be great. Thank you
