My 150 Force starts well, and does good in a no wake zone. When i gun it, it gets on plane no problem. Sometimes I can go 1/4 mile and it comes off plane and I loose power. I then putter along at 15-20 thousand rpm and runs fine. I can then get back up on plane and power is restored for maybe 300 yards and bogs back down to 20 thousand rpms, I back off the throttle and the boat runs well once again. Why is this boat loosing power periodicly? I took off fuel pump, the diaframs inside do not look torn. Do they stretch and loose their pumping strenth? I have have the boat for 14 years and I thought I seen everything.

Re: 150 Force '92 fuel problem

Rebuild the pump.Replace the squeezie.Check the tank for junk.Replace or remove any quick disconnects.Sounds like it's starving for fuel or getting air in the line.Jerry
