150 force

Hi All<br />Would the lower unit of a 1989 150hp Force match up with a 1992 150hp Force.<br />The 1989 has the prestolite ignition<br />while the 1992 has Merc ignition.<br />Note I have the 92 and someone wants the lower unit for their 89<br />Cheers Joe

I believe it would fit. Both would have Force gearcases. Later Forces started using Merc gearcases, but I don't think the 150s were ever included in that change.
